About Us

Ruperto's Inland Resort is located in Barangay Linmansangan, town of Binalonan, Pangasinan. It's just a four hours drive from Manila. Its proximity to Baguio City makes it an ideal place to stay as you can get a glimpse of the country's summer capital in just a two hour's drive from the resort. And if you want to reflect deeply with Mother Mary, you can visit the shrine of Our Lady of Manaoag, which is just 15 minutes leisurely drive amidst green countryside sceneries and smooth concrete roads.

How it all came about.

"Vision + Ambition and Hard work = Realization . That is the simple formula for this wonderful project that you see standing here today. A vision of a family oriented father who dreamed that one day a small resort will be built where all his children and their families could get together and have a great time."

"The idea caught my imagination and started me thinking. Over a period of years, I toyed with the idea, often discussing with my brother Tom. He also got interested and so the ambition of putting a resort in this piece of land which I bought was born. It would be a place where we could retreat and escape the busy pace of city life while we are on holiday. Then came the planning stage.

Since Tom and I were away, the planning part fell mostly on Joy and Tessie, but with constant suggestion from us from time to time, Joy and Tessie envisioned a project on a larger scale that will include a hotel, restaurant, conference hall, swimming pool, a boutique, and even a karaoke bar. It entailed such a huge undertaking so they started consulting and gathering ideas. Came the hard part."
"On this particular phase, Joey had a lead role. He sacrificed being away from his family to stay on site to supervise construction. This went on for over a year traveling back and forth to Manila and Binalonan. Along with Joey, of course, is Tessie who was a co-partner in overseeing the construction."

"On this special day, we remember "Ruperto Legaspi Jr." (a former government official of Binalonan) or "SP" as he was known around here to his friends. Ruperto's Inland Resort is named in his honor. It is a great place for conferences, conventions, family re-unions, weddings, baptismal celebrations, etc. It is a great hotel in a great location, offering quiet surrounding with fresh air and all the amenities that you look for."

Note: The above is an excerpt from the message of Ms. Linda E. Thomson of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, one of the founders of Ruperto's Inland Resort, read in her absence during its inauguration last April 8, 2002.
